The Lionesses have been spotted relaxing in Australia ahead of the Women’s World Cup.
The prestigious tournament, held by co-hosts Australia and New Zealand, gets underway on July 20.
England Women’s side, led by manager Sarina Wiegman, will be one of the favourites to win the competition Down Under.
And around a week before the first match begins, Lionesses stars were pictured chilling out on a team day out.
Players were given a boat ride in Mooloolaba, a suburb of the Sunshine Coast region in Queensland.

Others looked out as dolphins froliced in the water on their day out before the tournament
Images on the national team’s official Twitter account show many of them smiling and posing happily for snaps on the boat.
Bayern Munich midfielder Georgia Stanway posed in a white t-shirt and reflective sunglasses. She then joined nine team-mates for a group shot including captain Leah Williamson.
And a video of the trip shows their hair being whipped back as they travel at high speeds as players struggle to hold onto their baseball caps. Others filmed on the edge of the boat as dolphins froliced in the water.
Mail Sport reported last week that several other Women’s World Cup stars are thriving on social media site Instagram.
England’s Lauren James – sister of Chelsea defender Reece – earns £14,000 per post but is rivalled by a Canadian star and Germany’s Jule Brand’s rocketing profile.
For many established players, the spotlight has become a part of their day-to-day lives, having grown vast social media followings in recent years. For the younger generation, who are entering the changed landscape, it offers a window into the exposure now possible.
Data analysts Nielsen Sports have put together a list of the top 10 Instagram influencers among the breakthrough talent taking to the field at this summer’s tournament, and found that Lionesses’ rising star Lauren James comes out on top.
Having taken into account the number of followers, rate at which followings have grown, engagement with posts, and the value of each branded post on Instagram with their InfluenceScope tool, Nielsen concluded that the Chelsea forward delivers the greatest value on social media to sponsors.
