Yalla Shoot :20 years since David Beckham left Man Utd to join Real Madrid 2003

A marauder down the right wing, United’s former no.7 scored 85 times in 394 appearances for the club, as a central figure across a storied period in our history.

‘Becks’ won six Premier League titles – the last one lifted after his final Reds appearance, away to Everton, in May 2003 – two FA Cups and a Champions League among his major honours as a Red and celebrated all three aforementioned prizes as part of our Treble-winning team in 1998/99.

The ex-England international – who received 115 caps for his nation – went on to become a La Liga champion during his time with Real Madrid and would go on to add to his successful club career after leaving the Bernabeu in 2007, following spells with LA Galaxy, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain prior to his retirement in 2013.
